Do You Have A Plan?

Posted on January 24, 2014 at 11:12 AM Comments comments (29)
"It might be nice if everything were to play out according to your plan, but the thing is, it won’t. There will most certainly be surprises, so you might as well find a way to make positive use of them". - Ralph Marston

How can you use them to move you forward?

Forgiveness Friday

Posted on December 20, 2013 at 10:34 AM Comments comments (24)
FORGIVENESS FRIDAYS...Forgiveness can be difficult. Believe me I am a work in progress as well. However, we must remember that forgiveness is more for us than the other person. It is about our own spiritual growth and finding that peace within ourselves.

Who do you need or want to forgive today? Is it the parent who abandoned you, the friend who promised to call you back but got busy with his/her day, the waitress that spilled something on your favorite blouse, the spouse who went to bed angry, the child you haven't talked to in months/years or the commuter who stepped on your toe on the metro? Who will you forgive today?

Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. Ephesians 4:32

Happy Birthday to ME!

Posted on December 18, 2013 at 1:05 PM Comments comments (10)
Birthdays are time for me to reflect on the past year - appreciate the good things, as well as the lessons learned and to take that insight to plan and prepare for what is to come in the next days, months and/or year. I realize that tomorrow is not promised and that being in the moment is key to enjoying life. The past year has not been obstacle free but I have been strengthened by them. I acknowledge my accomplishments and the people in my life that bring me that needed peace and joy. So today, I stand in the moment enjoying and appreciating ME! Live Your Life!

What is stopping you?

Reminded me so much of my little guy, who recently turned 15. He knows what he wants and goes after it. What is holding you back? Is it real, or is it an excuse because of the "F" word? FEAR is just False Evidence Appearing Real. Time to get your chair and start climbing!

No Regrets...

I don't regret the things I have done. I regret the things I didn't do when I had the chance. I have proclaimed "No more regrets!" Will you do the same?
